Ubisoft Splits From Might and Magic Developer Limbic Entertainment After 4 Year Partnership
Has the Might and Magic series reached a sudden conclusion? Most likely not. But if the impending end of a partnership between developer Limbic and Ubisoft is anything to go by, we won't be seeing another title in the series from the dynamic duo in the future. Notes left in a post detailing the newest update for Might and Magic Heroes VII explains how "After 4 years of a close collaboration, our partnership with Limbic Entertainment is coming to an end". Alerting players that no more updates will be released for the title, the statement seems to be coming from Ubisoft rather than Limbic Entertainment.

Developer Limbic Entertainment has revealed in a new blog post that the upcoming 1.4 update to Might and Magic Heroes VII will be a "major overhaul", not only improving the graphics but also performance as well.

Gamers who expected a Might and Magic: Heroes VII DVD in the $99.99 Collector's Edition of the game were disappointed to find only codes for it and the soundtrack. Ubisoft apologized for the misleading photo which depicted discs; the description itself stated that there would be codes.
Ubisoft details key features of Might and Magic Heroes 7 in 101 trailer
Might and Magic Heroes 7 is just over a week away, and publisher Ubisoft has released one of its 101 feature rundown videos to give fans some idea of what they can expect from the latest installment of the long-running fantasy strategy series. Rather than murdering everybody who wears a different colour, the story campaign's primary protagonist Duke Ivan of Griffin is recruiting a special council of classic series archetypes, in order to protect the world from the usual cataclysmic threats.
Second closed Beta for Might and Magic: Heroes 7 kicks off tomorrow
Ubisoft has announced that the second closed Beta test for Might and Magic: Heroes 7 will kick off tomorrow. If you pre-order the game you'll gain immediate access, but the publisher says there will be various promotional events online through which other players can potentially grab a key. This second Beta adds two new factions voted for by the game's community, the Sylvan and Dungeon elves. The previously playable Haven and Academy factions will also get a few new gameplay additions.
