Pillars of Eternity - The White March: Part 1 Latest Updates
Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition arrives November 15 with all-new content
Paradox and Obsidian are bringing out a Complete Edition of Pillars of Eternity, their Baldur's Gate spiritual successor, which will also feature brand new DLC - and it'll be free to existing owners of the game.
500K units of Pillars of Eternity have now been sold
Obsidian Entertainment's Kickstarter-funded roleplaying game, Pillars of Eternity, has passed the 500,000 mark in sales, which includes the original backers.
Pillars of Eternity 2 will take place somewhere new, says Obsidian
Having created a sprawling new fantasy world unburdened by tricky licensing issues, it's perhaps not totally surprising that Obsidian wants to take us somewhere new in the eventual, and already confirmed, Pillars of Eternity 2. That means we won't return to the meadows and forests of the Dyrwood, the setting of the first game. Nor will we be revisiting the frozen North, subject of recent expansion pack The White March Part One.

What you really want to get your hands on is one of the new Soulbound weapons - these are extra-powerful artifacts that can be synced to different classes, unlocking new powers depending on which class is currently wielding them.
Obsidian introduces us to some of the frozen locales found in Pillars of Eternity: The White March - Part 1
As if there were not enough tantalising games on the horizon already, Obsidian is about to launch the first expansion for its excellent fantasy RPG Pillars of Eternity. Honestly, you wait three months for an interesting game, and then twelve come along at once. The White March - Part 1 takes players to the frozen North (possibly a homage to a certain other snowbound RPG series), and lead area designer Bobby Null takes us through a few of the environments we'll visit in this brief teaser video.
