Blow: The Witness to sell more in one week than Braid did in one year
The Witness, indie developer Jonathan Blow's next game after to his cult hit puzzle platformer Braid, has suffered widespread piracy, but that hasn't stopped sales, as the developer stated on Twitter that the game was selling far faster than Braid did.
Pirated copies of The Witness could ruin odds of future Blow game
The Witness is, by many accounts, another fantastically brilliant puzzler from Braid creator Jonathan Blow. Unfortunately, that popularity isn't entirely translating to sales. Blow recently announced his concern about The Witness being heavily pirated, with warning that it could affect the possibility of a future game.
The Witness is now available for pre-sale at $40
It won't be long before Braid creator Jonathan Blow's latest creation, The Witness is available for players to puzzle over and explore to their heart's content. The game went live for pre-order today on Steam and The Humble Bundle store. The price, however, comes to a slightly alarming $40/ €36.99 / £29.99.
