UEFA Euro 2012 gets patched today
Electronic Arts has announced that a new update has been released for UEFA Euro 2012, the standalone expansion to FIFA 12. The update mostly fixes freezing issues and some online tweaks.
Fans express outrage at unlicensed UEFA Euro 2012 players
EA Sports is dealing with angry footie fans who are upset that over half the players in the FIFA 12 expansion UEFA Euro 2012 are unlicensed players, including the host nation Ukraine, as well as Wales, Slovakia, Estonia, Belarus and FYR Macedonia. 24 of the 53 teams feature players with fictional names and false strips, EA Sports has confirmed, but explained that it was impossible to license every single team, and apologized if fans of certain teams were disappointed.

This week's slate of PlayStation Network games features Popcap titles that are finally hitting the PlayStation 3, as well as Telltale Games' licensed adventure game, The Walking Dead. Electronic Arts announced today that it will celebrate UEFA EURO 2012 with an officially licensed videogame for the 2012 European Football Championship in Poland and Ukraine, which starts on 8th June. UEFA Euro 2012 will be released as an expansion pack for FIFA 12 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC beginning 24th April, 2012.
