Publisher Team17 and developer Black Matter have announced the release of Hell Let Loose’s Update 6, which drastically changes some of the game’s systems, adds a new map and more.
Hell Let Loose’s Update 6 adds a completely reworked ballistics system to the World War II shooter. This system takes into account gravity and wind resistance and is accompanied by a new hit detection system, both contributing to an increase in the title’s level of realism.

Update 6 also adds the new Hill 400 map, playable in both Offensive and Warfare modes, alongside new recon vehicles and new commander abilities. The Utah Beach map has also received an overhaul.
“A key strategic position that saw Allied forces overcome entrenched Axis personnel (only for them to lose and then later reclaim it) Hell Let Loose’s interpretation of Hill 400 features two very distinct visual flavours for gamers to experience, a misty morning and an overcast daytime, depending on the mode they choose to play.”, reads a press release.
“The new map takes advantage of the latest visual improvements made to the game, with further graphical enhancements coming over the months ahead.”, it continues.
Lastly, Update 6 adds new customization options while tackling various bug fixes and continuing the effort towards better optimization.
Hell Let Loose is available now on PC via Steam Early Access.
