World of Warcraft: The War Within’s patch 11.1 PTR gives us an early chance to experience the content of the upcoming Undermined update and provide feedback ahead of its official launch.
Over the course of its testing period, WoW’s patch 11.1 PTR will receive multiple updates, as Blizzard continues to tweak its features, while gradually expanding the pool of content we can test.

Although the update itself was unveiled in 2024, World of Warcraft: The War Within’s patch 11.1 PTR release date didn’t occur until the new year, on January 7, 2025, when we could take our first steps through the goblin trade capital.

A plethora of class changes have since been implemented on the public test realm, with more likely on the way until its conclusion. Dungeon and raid testing is also underway, albeit on separate schedules.
While the former focuses on different dungeons each week, the latter has specific days during which players can team up to try out its newest large group PvE activity.
The Undermined update is currently still on track for an early 2025 launch, as of late January, so, depending on when you’re reading this, you may still have time to download the PTR client and test out some of the upcoming changes yourself.
